FAQ

Note: You must be at least 16 years old to create a Studinty account.

1. Download the Studinty app and click on CREATE an account.
2. Sign up using your email address, or conveniently use your Facebook or Google account.
3. Enter your name, email address, and password.
4. Read and agree to the End User License Agreement & Terms and Conditions.
5. Click Next.
6. Check your email for a verification code and enter it in the app to complete your registration.

• Go to the menu and log out.
• Click on Forgot Password.
• Enter your email address and click Next.
• Enter your new password and confirm it.
• Check your email for a verification code and enter it.
• Click Next to complete the process.

To keep your account secure, follow these guidelines when creating a password:

• Choose a password that’s easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
• Use a unique password for Studinty that you don’t use for other accounts, like email or banking.
• Longer passwords are generally more secure—aim for at least 8 characters.
• Avoid using personal information like your email address, phone number, or date of birth.
• Don’t use common words like “password” or easily guessed combinations.
• Consider using a password manager to securely store your passwords.
• Never share your password with anyone. If you do, change it immediately.

• Go to Menu and select Edit Profile.
• Your profile is divided into four pages. Scroll through each page to view and edit all your information.
• Click Next to move through the pages.
• Once you’ve made your changes, click Save on the final page to update your profile.

1. Go to Menu > Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Remove Account.

Before you leave, we’d love to hear your feedback. You can share your thoughts by going to Menu > Contact Us.

• Go to the Fellow Students section.
• Use the search filters by clicking the filter button on the right side of the screen, if needed.
• Browse the results and click on the envelope icon on a profile picture to send a connection request.
• Optionally, write a message and then click Send.

• Go to Menu > Chat.
• Click on the Fellow Students tab.
• Connection requests will have a dropdown button with several options. To accept, click on Accept.

To remove a connection:

1. Go to Menu > My Contacts.
2. Search for the user’s name and swipe left.
3. Click on Delete to remove the connection.

To block a connection:

1. Go to the profile of the user you want to block.
2. Scroll down to the section below Hobbies and Interests.
3. Choose to either Block contact or Remove contact by clicking the respective option.

1. Go to the Housing, Events, or Marketplace section, depending on where you want to post.
2. Click on the Plus button in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter the details of your advert and click Publish.

1. Go to the section where your advert is located (Housing, Events, or Marketplace).
2. Click on My Adverts (Housing), My Events (Events), or My Listings (Marketplace).
3. Find the advert you want to update and click on the pencil icon to make changes.

• Go to Menu > Settings.
• Browse through the available options and use the toggles to turn notifications on or off.

• Go to Menu > Legals.
• You can view our Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and End User License Agreement from there.
